w10-20 hours a week
wSalary is negotiable ($10-$15/hour), depending on experience, enthusiasm, and results.
wResponsible for promoting, scheduling and finalizing Playshop and Parent-Child Retreat trainings & keynote conference presentations.
wSome day travel may be required to NC, VA, WV, and SC.
wNeeds Internet connection and exceptional telephone skills.
wEnthusiasm, ambition, creativity, and writing skills are essential.
 

What do you need to do?

1) Check out playshops.com website to familiarize yourself with what Playshops are and brainstorm marketing venues to explore.

2) Generate one (or more) of the following:

• Compose a high-interest flyer to advertise a local school system's Playshop training for counselors, teachers, and administrators.
• Prepare a sure-fire brochure to explain why every parent would want their child's teacher to have a "Playshops Facilitator Guide."
• Identify national conferences to present Playshop trainings & keynote presentations and generate a customized introductory letter.
• What e-zines, listservs, and websites would be viable partners to market Playshops? How would you initiate such liasons?

4) Include your resume, 3 references and how your marketing skills are superior to all others.

5) You will be contacted within 1-2 weeks for an interview.
